EP // BRIEF 4 // RELATED GAME // STYLE, AESTHETICS

In regards to colour scheme and overall aesthetic, Spotify was the biggest influence to these choices. The games was in effect thought of because of Spotify, therefore I felt a sense of connectivity that the game had with Spotify and it was pretty much expanding on from an aspect of their service (related artist). Not only that but the overall colour scheme was very complimentary, slick and presented a contemporary user interface.

Returning to my point about the relationship to Spotify, I also approached the game as if I could pitch and sell it to Spotify as an extension to their brand.  Therefore, in the future I could easily approach Spotify and simply say "Look, I have this game I created... all you need is to implement your API data and you're good to go". The game already implements the majority of the branding from Spotify, which Spotify can look at and instantly visualise the game as part of their Brand as it could become quite challenging and problematic for Spotify to visualise the game being used within their own Brand if the colour scheme or overall style was completely different. Essentially it just makes it easier for them to envision what the game could look like.
