EP // BRIEF 3 // D&AD PEARSON // BENEFITS OF CONCEPT

As the concept of e-mily was taking shape I decided to quickly use a spider diagram to jot down the benefits that e-mily would create for billions of students around the globe. The benefits were:

  • Collaboration - Students would be able to use e-mily to collaborate with their group. By using any social messenger platform, students can share resources and complete homework with their group.
  • Access to Billions - Collectively all social messenger platforms have a total of 5 billions active monthly user. Therefore, e-mily will be accessible all over the globe and with e-mily be access through mobile more poor students will be able to have access.
  • Familiar Platforms - Many students are already familiar with social messenger platforms such as Facebook messenger and Whatsapp. Therefore, students won't have to seek out the educational tool as e-mily will be delivered straight to the user.
  • All demographic - Most social messaging platforms can be used from the age of 13. This allows all students from Secondary school, College and University to access e-mily.
  • Quick Response - e-mily is a chatbot and isn't run by any human. This ensures responses are instantaneous.
  • Access to all information - Once a student's educational institute has signed up they can access all course resources and information straight from e-mily through the app or any social messaging platform.
