Below is the final video for the game Related. I absolutely loved the final outcome and I'm extremely proud of what I've created. The final product has been exposed to a number of creative directors from digital studios around Leeds and Manchester so the feedback has really informed what you see below.
The final product really enforces a contemporary take on a strategic/puzzle games and all gaming apps in general. Related embraces music at its core, allowing users of all demographics to play, learn and discover new genres and artists. Through its minimal UI the game breaks down the mechanics of a game and reconstructs the fundamentals to create a game that is accessible, fluid, effective, timeless and playable. After receiving feedback from a number of studios, the implementation of the progress bar was introduced to open the game up to users who had a limit knowledge of music. Ensuring a game that can be customised and adapted to suit players of all needs. Guaranteeing the same level of enthusiasm and enjoyment for every player.
