UP YER SLEEVE is a cross-course print exhibition championing the art of record sleeve design. Each of the tracks have been carefully selected to celebrate a range of musical artists who have passed away in recent memory.
Produce one 7 inch x 7 inch piece of printed artwork in response to an allocated track.

Up Yer Sleeve is in response to Secret 7 cancelling their competition for this year. Up Yer Sleeve is essentially Secret 7 but with 10 tracks. Secret 7 has always been a productive and creative brief, It's normally a quick fire brief with a lot of freedom. The main advantage of the brief is the lack of restriction and requirements. The brief sets out only a few requirements such as:
- Everyone gets allocated a song
- Must be physical submission
- Submission size 7" x 7"
All tracks that have been chosen are by bands or solo artists who have recently passed away and therefore the brief takes on a tribute role, dedicating the sleeves to the artist who has recently passed away.
