Me and Lo conducted primary research to see what people thought about the Church of Satan. The church has many negative connotations but hardly anybody who isn't a member knows what they stand for. If the brand wasn't attached to what the church believed in would people see these beliefs as a representation of themselves? Would they see the beliefs as positive and caring and include them into their lives? To find out we set up a survey and ask people what they thought of the 11 statement of Satanism but without telling them that they were from the Church of Santan. We then asked some follow-up up questions to see if their opinions changed once they found out they were connected to the church.

More people said they would include the statements into their everyday life.

What are your thoughts on Satanism? - As predicted the majority of people had something negative to say about Satanism. 

"Do they worship the Devil?" - An example of how little people know about the church.

"Possibly but I wouldn't ever want to label myself a satanist" - This comment demonstrate another area of the issues relating to the church. Judgment from society stops people from reaching out and bettering themselves. This is due to religious beliefs instilling the idea that all things Devil related are bad. Even people who have no religious association still fear judgment from society.
