EP // BRIEF 10 // RESEARCH BRIEF // DICTATORS // RESEARCH INTO DICTATORS

To start the research brief off I spend a good few hours searching the Internet and reading up on all thing dictatorships. I was already highly interested in the subject but didn't know the as much as I thought I did. I spent a while looking through a number of books, articles and videos to understand what area of dictatorships I found most interesting. It was immediately apparent through the initial research that there would either be four areas in which I was going to further research into. These areas were:

1. Old dictators - Such as Stalin, Mao Zedong, Hitler and Kim IL Sung.

2. New(ish) dictators - Such as Kim Jung Un, Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein and Bashar al-Assad.

3. A mixed of dictators - Mixture of the above

4. Future dictators - What dictators could arise in the future and what countries could end up becoming a dictatorship.
