The Church of Satan brief in collaboration with Lo was very insightful, challenging and enjoyable. Lo was great to work with and we work very well together. Myself and Lo share a lot of similar interests and topic areas so when I suggested the Church of Satan brief we both became very excited. No only because it's a cool brief to experiment with but it's was interesting to see how far we can push it. We knew that it would be impossible to change how people viewed the church but if we changed one person's attitude towards the church then that's what I call a success. Myself and Lo aren't members of the church but we stumble upon it a couple of years ago and found that they don't believe in devil worshipping and human sacrifice but instead their beliefs are on par with Christianity and personally I think better in some areas. They believe in love and respect for one's self while being kind to other people and animals. If myself and Lo can look past the sheer annoyance and embarrassment of their current branding then anyone can. The brief was about changing people's negative connotation about the church by showing the public the true Church of Santan.
As I've already mentioned, me and Lo worked effectivly together, we distributed work between us, while working together on the larger tasks such as the video and concept. We both learnt to managed our time together while balancing other briefs within the module. The brief was completed a lot earlier than expected which was very encouraging. Overall, I felt the brief was a success and by testing the final out with our intended demographic were saw positive reactions. The ratio was around 50/50 but that is still a success. A lot of people turn off as soon as they hear the word satan so it was amazing to witness people engaging and expressing their willingness to accept and reconsider the Church of Satan.
