Christianity, a religion in which gave birth to the devil The religion is the main competition when it comes to the Church of Satan. By looking at their brand and their collection of websites we can determine how they approach and advertise the religion to their audience. How do they portray the religion as loving and caring? By analysing the following website we can draw out a few design trends used across the sites and begin to implement the elements within Church of Satan.
First of the colour scheme is always predominantly white. This gives off a sense of freshness, approachability and comfort. Most colour schemes are limited to two colours. Red has been used for the first site but purple for the rest. Purple is considered God's colour and therefore relates back to a long history. Imagery is very important, unlike the images on the Church of Santan website they feel very fresh and comforting. Thye often uses colourful images with people. People are used to showing to the audience that people enjoy the church and all people of all colour are Christian. These photos are probably stock photos but essentially it instils a sense of modernism and a religion that is still popular, relevant and timeless with happy Christian people. Overall, all sites portray a minimal aesthetic in regards to the design structure. It's clean, professional and credible. A site that can promote the religion as clean and credible.
